The house is arranged on three floors:At ground floor, a spacious living and dining room, subdivided by a wide archway, opens onto the garden. The dining end, with its wood-burning stove, gives onto a separate well equipped country kitchen, with its gas cooker with oven, a double sink, large fridge, and washing machine. The kitchen has a small table suitable for breakfast and a back door giving onto the garden. There is sufficient crockery, cutlery, glass and cooking utensils for eight. The living and dining room has an eight foot pine table, rustic upright chairs; and the sitting area, focussing on the fireplace, has a two sofas, an armchair, floor cushion, and a coffee table.
Up by the original staircase to the first floor, where a large studio, with day bed gives onto a bedroom with double bed, and to a fully equipped bathroom, with shower, bidet, wc & basin. Studio and bedroom both have french doors and balconies, sheltered from the heat of the day and offering good views of the surrounding countryside. The access to first and second floors is through the studio.
The second floor has a large room, with double bed and single bed, with extensive views; and another twin bedded room, smaller but quite adequate for a couple sharing. The second bathroom, has its own bath with shower attachment, bidet, w.c. and washbasin.
Outside, the charming level garden is equipped with a large sun umbrella, canvas chairs, and teak table for dining al fresco. Wall seats provide options for shade or sunbathing. Over the road, stone steps lead down to a paved terrace nestled under the trees, with stone table and views through the newly planted olives to the oak woodland cloaking the slopes of Monte Corona.
